I got a new calling in church on Sunday. It's pretty exciting, but I'm a little nervous. It's actually a calling I sort of wanted, but not for another few years.... I'm the new Young Women's Secretary. We have a very small amount of youth in the ward, so most likely there will be more leaders than girls, but I'm sure it'll be great anyway.
I'm going on Thurs. night with another newly called YW leader to the Stake Youth Conference. That night they're having a dance so I guess we'll be chaperoning. Me, a chaperon? How crazy, I never thought I'd see that happen.
Well, wish me luck in my new adventure.....

I'm so excited for you and your new calling! You will do great! We were fighting pretty hard to get you in Primary but I know that you are right where you are supposed to be. So it was bitter sweet for me when you were called! Young Women's is fun!!
I'm in young women's too and I love it! (even though I still feel like I AM a young women)
man i'm so sad, i wanted to do something with you and jer after the BBQ tonight..but i guess not..have fun at Youth Conference. How long will you be there?
