Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day Weekend we went to St. George with our friends, Chris and Joanna. We had a great time.
We got frozen custard at Nielsen's....

Went to dinner with Chris and Joanna....

Went sight-seeing....

Saw Jacob Hamblin's house....

Got artistic with my photography....
Window-shopped and saw cute plates....
And....

wrecked on a Vino scooter.....

Those are shots of my legs and feet. Luckily I didn't break any bones, it just hurts to walk. Also, the bruises are even worse looking now-lucky me.
Besides that, we had a good weekend.

It's been awhile

So, obviously, we haven't blogged for awhile-mostly because I really don't know what to write about, I feel like I live a pretty boring, repetetive life. Anyway, I went visiting teaching today and found another blog to read (Lee and Marie), so I went to check it out and found a million other people on their list- many of whom are in our ward. It's crazy to see just how many people are blogging these days.
On another subject, Jer and I are pretty excited (I'm not sure who's more excited though-him or me?). By Friday night, I will be done with my hormone pills. Some of you may not realize what a big deal this is. Hormone pills are horrible little things that make me a horrible person to be around a lot of the time (according to my mom, Jer deserves a medal for putting up with me). This week also marks 2 months since my surgery. This means that we can hopefully move on from all this sad, painful, no babies chapter in our lives to starting our little family. We'll see how it all works out.
Another exciting thing is that Jer and I are going to St. George for Memorial Day weekend with our friends Chris and Joanna (who we went on our cruise with). After all the stress of the past couple months, it'll be nice to get away and have some Nielsen's Frozen Custard (best dessert ever!) and be lazy.
Well, that's all I've got in me to write now, plus it's past my bed time.
